balloon sculpting everyone!!!!

my first time, a hands-on on balloon sculpting....heard that we have to make the balloons for the kids at the children's home. so we have to start of with simple basics of the balloons....

here are some things i have to say....

1st worry:

HOW TO BRING SO MANY BALLOON HOME?!

the instructor started with asking us to pop our own balloons so that we can get used to the sound of balloons bursting...harh... must be joking ehh?!

and thats true... lols...

infating the balloon with the pump and the hard one... tie the knot....

that needs a lot of time you know..

then comes the twisting!!!!

we made dogs(normal ones), poodles,sword,teddy bear,flower and a necklace or a hat. depends on what you call it...

the animals should come out proportionate, but then mine was like.. eergh....

and Qian Yun, i think she has quite a talent in balloons cause she is like so experienced with the balloons already although it is only her first try... wow(i haven found my talent yet leh)

we made so many balloons and wasted so many balloons cause most of it went pop!

although mine didn't... and so is qian yun's balloon

the worst was the teddy bear it was the hardest to make and then is the flower cause for the flower, you have to burst only one part of the balloon using your bare hands and ouch! the balloons go bursting in your hands. i did that only for once. and i hope the children in the children's home dun ask for a flower or a teddy bear....

the whole table that we were working at(outside LT1 level 2) was filled with balloons so with no choice, we chose the ones that we like and brought them home... the rest ended up flat and in the dustbin.....(although some was still round and fat).. the dustbin almost exploded because of us...

bringing a balloon home is like very funny but i am quite proud of it.. lets make the children jealous again! heehee..... =)
